Beach WA 1500 begins at the foreland and trends essentially due north for 1.6 km to the next section of calcarenite bluffs. The beach forms the northern side of the foreland formed in lee of the reef located 1 km offshore. The northern end of the reef forms the southern boundary of Turtlet Bay, with refracted waves moving through the break to align the foreland. As a consequence wave height also increases towards the northern end, where they break over a 50 m wide band of inshore reefs.
Beach Length: 1.6km
