Beach WA 1524 is located on the northern side of Bruboodjoo Point and is known as Nine Mile Camp (Fig. 4.344). The 1.3 km long low energy beach initially faces north then curves round to face west. It is backed by a degraded low foredune, then 100-200 m wide salt flats, backed by 20 m high dunes from beach WA 1523. This is a reasonably popular campsite with campers usually nestled in lee of the dunes. They use the beach for launching small fishing boats. The beach terminates at the start of a 20 km long section of alternative calcarenite bluffs and beaches.
Beach Length: 1.3km
