Beach WA 1506 commences at the tip of Point Anderson and trends to the north-northeast for 1.6 km to the beginning of the 2 km long central bluffed section of the embayment. The beach receives low waves and is fronted by a wide sandy lagoon grading into reef flats towards the fringing reef. A north-trending active parabolic parallels the rear of the beach.
