Beach WA 1450 commences 500 m to the north in lee of an inflection in the calcarenite. It then trends north for 2.2 km initially to the lee of a 200 m wide reef dominated surf zone, which narrows to 100 m in the north. It is backed by vegetated sand ramps that climb part way up the backing slopes. There is a lefthand reef break off the southern end of the beach.
