Beach WA 1447 is located at the base of 90 m high cliffs 2 km east of Point Culver. It is inaccessible by foot and consists of a steep northwest-facing reflective beach with waves averaging about 1 m. Higher waves wash across the beach to the backing steep cliffs, while cliff debris and talus litters the back of the beach. One kilometre north of the beach are the remains of the wreck of a salt ship, the Korean Star, blown onto the rocks during a cyclone in 1988. A vehicle track runs down the backing slopes to the wreck.
