Beach WA 1435 commences on the northern side of the bluffs in lee of a prominent attached reef and continues to the northwest then north for 6.8 km. It is a crenulate beach with reefs widening and shoaling to the north resulting in a shallow, up to 500 m wide, reef-dominated surf zone. A 2-3 km wide zone of north-tending vegetated parabolic dunes backs both beaches, with 4 WD tracks through the dunes to access to both beaches.
