Beach WA 1437 is a straight 1 km long west-facing strip of steep high tide sand bordered by 10 m high calcarenite points. It is fronted by a 100 wide band of calcarenite platform degrading into reefs along the outer edge, with waves averaging about 1.5 m breaking on the outer reefs and providing some good surf (Fig. 4.329). A well vegetated foredune then the homestead back the southern part of the beach.
