Beach WA 1451 lies another 1 km to the north and is a 2.2 km long west-southwest-facing beach, that is relatively free of reefs and has a 100 m wide rip-dominated sandy surf zone, with waves averaging over 1.5 m. It is backed by partially active sand ramp that has climbed the backing 80-90 m high bluffs and transgressed a few hundred metres to the north (Fig. 2.24d), with older vegetated dunes extending up to 4 km north towards Red Bluff.
