Beach WA 1475 commences on the northern side of the eroding bluffs and forms the northern shore of the embayment. It is a 1.7 km long beach that terminates at a sandy foreland that has prograded up to 400 m out from the backing 30 m high bluffline, as a series of foredune ridges. These are being actively transgressed the length of the beach. The foreland lies to the lee of a reef system that extends 2 km offshore, and marks the end of the near continuous fringing reef that extends north from Gnaraloo Bay.
