WA 1468 continues northeast for 1.6 km to the northern sandy foreland (Fig. 4.335). The reefs continue 400-500 m offshore, as does the wide calmer lagoon. There is a gap halfway along the reef mirrored by a curvature in the shore. Both beaches are backed by a 100-200 m wide vegetated foredune-dune system, and both have areas of stabilising parabolic dunes on their more southerly-facing shoreline. A landing ground is located to the east of beach WA 1467, on the flat plain between the foredune and inner bluffs.
Beach Length: 1.6km
