Beach WA 1477 commences on the northern side of the creek mouth and continues northeast for another 1.4 km. The backing bluffline approaches the coast to the north and forms a small point at the northern end of the beach, separating it from beach WA 1478. A shallow beachrock reef located about 200-300 m offshore parallels the entire beach, and together with the shallow reef and sand seafloor result in low waves at the shore.
