Beach WA 1099 commences at the northern reef-induced sandy foreland and trends to the north-northwest for 2.8 km to the southern foreland of Coronation Beach. This is a relative straight beach paralleled by a near continuous band of beachrock, which is attached to the southern half of the beach and parallels the northern half about 50-100 m offshore, with patchy reefs extending further seawards. Waves break across the outer and inner reefs resulting in low waves to calm conditions at the shore and a calm lagoon along the northern half between the beach and inner beachrock reef. The beach is backed by vegetated Holocene transgressive dunes then farmland, with a 4 WD track from Coronation Beach running the length of the beach.
Beach Length: 2.8km
General Hazard Rating: 5/10
