Beaches RI 6, 7 and 8 are three pockets of sand 50 m, 60 m and 30 m long respectively, located on the eastern side of the bay, along the western shore of Point Clune. Each is bordered and backed by sloping vegetated bluffs rising to 15 m, and fronted by rock platforms and reefs, the reefs continuing most of the way across the 300 wide mouth of the bay.
