Beaches RI 17,18 and 19 occupy a 1 km long south-facing section of shore known as Patterson Beach (Fig. 4.184). Beaches RI 18 and 19 lie immediately west of Bickley Point along a section of rocky shore called Jubliee Rocks. They are two adjoining 150 m long pockets of sand bordered by 20 m high calcarenite bluffs, with grassy transgressive dunes rising to 30 m behind the beaches, with a pillar box on the highest dune.
