Nancy Cove is a 300 m wide, small southeast-facing embayment located 400 m southwest of Salmon Beach. The semicircular-shaped cove has a curving 300 m long sandy shoreline (RI 32), which is bordered, by a platform-fronted headland to the north and a sea stack to the south. The platforms and reefs lower waves to less than 1 m at the shore while vegetated 10-20 m high sand-draped bluffs backed the beach. A small jetty, connected to the shore by a rock groyne, crosses the southern end of the beach with a toilet block behind the jetty and dinghies sometimes pulled upon the beach. A navigation sign helps small boat navigate the channel between the platforms to reach the beach and jetty.
