Abraham Point marks the western boundary of Rocky Bay, a 1.2 km long north to northwest-facing curving bay, with rocks, reefs and seagrass meadows filling much of the bay floor. Four near continuous beaches occupy the bay shore with beaches RI 50 and 51 are located in lee of the point. Beach RI 50 is a 100 m long beach bordered by the Rocky Point in the west and a low sand-draped bluff in the east. It has a patch of open water in the west with intertidal rocks and reef along the remainder. An unstable foredune rising to 30 m backs the western end of the beach.
