Dynamite Bay (WA 1014) is located on the northern side of the head, with Cambawarra Head fronting the northern point of the semi-circular shaped bay (Fig. 4.246). The 200 m long curving beach occupies the eastern end of the bay, with only low waves reaching the shore. Apart from some occasional seagrass debris the beach and bay floor is sandy. This is the main recreational beach for Green Head and has a large central car park and toilet block, and is located just 200 m from the town’s small commercial area.
