. Little Anchorage beach (WA 1023) commences 200 m to the north and is a 1.2 km long beach that curves to the north to terminate at a sandy foreland. A boat launching area is located at the southern end. A small island and shallow reef lie off the southern end, with seagrass and reefs running the length of the beach, resulting in calm conditions along the shore.
Shell Bay is a curving 2.5 km long beach that extends north of the foreland to a straight section of calcarenite that forms a more prominent foreland.
