Beach WA 1043 is the main Coolimba Beach and site of the small jetty with the fishing boats moored just off the beach. The beach commences in lee of the bluffs and trends north for 2.5 km to the next set of bluffs. It is sheltered by the wide shallow reefs and seagrass meadows with usually low wind waves or calm conditions at the shore. It is backed by a central 2 km long active parabolic and vegetated dunes. The fish depot and parking area is located behind the jetty, with shacks extending to the south.
