Beach WA 1036 occupies a slight indention in the shoreline called Dumper Bay and curves to the north for 500 m. About 15 shacks are located around the southern corner of the beach, which is lies 200 m west of the road. Seagrass grows to the shoreline, with the shallow reefs extending several kilometre seaward. An active parabolic commences on the northern side of the beach and trend north for 500 m.
