Its neighbour (WA 958) extends from the northern foreland for another 400 m to the next more subdued foreland. It also has boundary reefs and a sandy centre narrowing to a central channel. Waves are usually low to calm at the shore. The main car park and a range of facilities including picnic area, bar-b-ques, toilets and beach boat launching facilities are provided in lee of the more open sandy section. Both beaches are backed by vegetated transgressive dunes.
