The northern bay beach (WA 959) continues north of the second foreland for 1.4 km to the southern side of the Kangaroo Point foreland. The beach faces southwest, which combined with a more open central section permits low waves to usually reach the beach at time forming a narrow low tide terrace. The beach has prograded about 200 m into the bay and is backed by seven vegetated foredune ridges, with transgressive dunes behind. There is no formal vehicle access except along the beach.
Beach Length: 1.4km
