Beach WA 955 occupies the next embayment and is a curving almost semicircular 1.3 km long sandy beach, bordered by prominent attached shallow reefs, but with a relatively reef-free central section (Fig. 4.235). This permits seagrass to gown on the sandy seafloor and low waves to reach the shore. A 200 m wide active parabolic dune extends for 500 m due north of the centre of the beach. There is a vehicle access track via the northern foreland to the beach.
Beach Length: 1.3km
