Beach K 239 lies immediately east of the eastern headland of Myridi Bay. It is a 200 m long north-facing high tide beach, backed by a small 1-2 m high foredune, and fronted by 100 m wide sand flats, then 100 m of reef flats. Beach K 240 lies immediately behind beach K 239, in a protected west-facing V-shaped embayment. The beach is a100 m long beach ridge located at the apex of the bay, widening across 200 m wide sand flats, then another 500 m of reef flats.
