Beaches K 193, 194 and 195 are three adjoining small beaches (Fig. 4.27) located along a 1 km section of north-facing rocky shore, 3 km east of the tip of the peninsula. Beach K 193 occupies a 50 m wide gap in the granite, widening to 100 m in lee of the gap. It has fringing mangroves and a 150 m wide mud flat. Beach K 194 is a 100 m long high tide beach fronted by 200 m long sand flats that extend for 50 m before grading into 100 m wide rock and reef flats. It is separated by a narrow spur of granite from beach K 195, a 100 m high tide beach, partly protected by an attached granite islet and mangroves. It is fronted by 300 m wide sand to rock flats.
