Beach WA-5 is a 3 km long embayment bordered by two cuspate forelands, the western called Low Point, a more prominent sandy foreland at the eastern end of an 80 km long relatively straight section of shore. The beach is backed by generally stable 3-5 m high foredunes, and discontinuous salt lakes up to 500 m wide, then older vegetated dunes extending up to 2-3 km inland. There is no direct vehicle access to the beach.
