Beach WA-4 lies at the end of the 16 km track that winds in from Mundrabilla. This is a more popular spot with a fishing camp located in behind the dunes, as well as remnants of an old well and stockyards close to the coast. During the crayfish season fishermen operate from this camp and leave their dinghies on the beach with the larger boats moored offshore. At the camp area is a low gradient beach and narrow bar with seagrass meadows offshore. It is backed by a deflation basin then the low vegetated dunes. The beach extends west for 8.5 km with two longer embayments either side of a central sandy foreland, together with shorter crenulations right along the shore. Low vegetated dunes extend 1-2 km inland, with stabilising areas of dune activity along about half the shoreline.
Beach Length: 8.5km
General Hazard Rating: 3/10
