Neds Camp beach (WA 1579) commences at the sandy creek mouth and curves to the northeast, them north for 3 km to the beginning of the low calcarenite bluffs that continue on as 1 km long Low Point. The beech is fronted by the deeper channel, with the centre of the beach facing due west into the gap in the reef, which permits low swell to reach the centre of the beach in the south. The beach is backed by a narrow foredune system where the Neds Camp camping area is located. The dunes widen to 300-400 in the north and become increasingly unstable, with an active blowout at the northern end of the beach extending 400 m to the north.
Beach Length: 3km
General Hazard Rating: 3/10
