Beach WA 1559 lies 100 m to the north at the end of the beachrock and forms the southern side of the low sandy foreland. It trends to the northwest for 400 m to the tip of the foreland. Both beaches are fronted by shallow sand and reef flats, a narrow channel, and then the outer reef flats.
