Beach WA 1557 extends north of the foreland for 1.7 km to the beginning of a 500 m long section of low beachrock bluffs, with the Osprey Bay camp site located on the bluffs. The north-trending crenulate beach is backed by a 100 m wide zone of semi-stable foredune, then vegetated dunes, with the road 500 m inland. It has outcrops of beachrock along the beach, which induces crenulations, then sand flats, a shore parallel tidal channel, with the reef flats extending 1.3 km out to the reefs.
