Beach WA 1632 is located at Point Maxwell on the northeastern tip of the peninsula. The 800 m long very low energy beach commences at Sandalwood Landing at the mouth of a small tidal creek. It then trends north protruding into the bay before curving round to terminate at the northern point. It is backed by a 10 m high foredune, and fronted by a 100 m wide tidal flats, then the deeper waters associated with the tidal channel.
