Beach WA 1631 is a very low energy 500 m long strip of beach that forms the southernmost exposure of sedimentary shoreline on the western gulf shore, with mangroves extending south for 17 km to the base of the Gales Bay and the gulf. The beach is located 4 km east of Exmouth Homestead, with a vehicle track leading to the beach and the shoreline to the north.
