Beach WA 1625 continues east of 1625 for 700 km to terminate at Point Lefroy, a low calcarenite-rimmed point that forms the northeastern tip of the peninsula. The tidal flats narrow to 200 m at the point while the patchy fringing reefs widen to 1 km. Straight tracks associated with oil exploration parallel the rear of the beaches and reach the eastern end.
