Beach WA 1531 extends north-northwest from the Carter Hill bluffs for 2.3 km to the next section of bluffs at Daly Hill. It is backed by an active parabolic in the south, which impinges on the access track, and by three larger vegetated parabolics to the north, the largest 1.5 km in length. It is fronted by the channel and then the reef flats.
