Beach WA 1546 extends north of the tip of Sandy Point for 1.8 km to where the shoreline is bisected by an oblique beachrock reef (Fig. 4.348). The slightly crenulate beach is paralleled by shoreline beachrock reefs, then the 1.5 km wide shallow lagoon and outer reefs, resulting in low waves at the shore. It is backed by transgressive dunes from the southern side of the point, with a 4 WD track running straight across the dunes to the centre of the beach
