Beach WA 1545 lies immediately to the west and is a similar more crenulate 300 m long beach backed by lower dunes with some beachrock outcropping along the shore. The dunes are part of vegetated dunes that have transgressed up to 1 km across Sandy Point. A vehicle track lies 200 m east of beach WA 1544, with no vehicle access through the dunes to either beach.
