Beach WA 1540 occupies the northern, north-facing shoreline of Winderbandi Point. It is 2.4 km long, curving round to trend north where the point rejoins the base of the foothills. It is a low energy reflective beach fronted by shallow sand and patchy reef. It is backed by the foredune ridges of the point, which have been partly transgressed from the south by now vegetated parabolic dunes. The northern end of the beach lies close to the coastal track, with an informal camping area behind the southern corner of the beach. It terminates in the north at the beginning of a 400 m long section of beachrock.
Beach Length: 2.4km
