Beach WA 1584 extends for 200 m north of the northern bay point. It is a low, narrow low energy beach with patches of mangroves growing along and just off the beach, and with shallow fringing reef extending 500 m seaward. It terminates at the entrance to a small tidal creek which drains a backing 100 ha coastal lagoon occupied by mangroves, then salt flats. This beach can be readily accessed from the Mangrove Bay car park located 100 m to the south.
