Beach WA 1091 is a crenulate 1 km long high tide beach fringed by continuous, though irregular 200-300 m wide calcarenite reefs and platforms. Waves break over the outer edge of the reefs with generally low waves at the shore. There is some surf along the edge of channels in the reef with easy access from the shore. A 4 WD track from Drummond Cove winds around the sandy foreland, which is backed by vegetated transgressive dunes rising to 20 m.
