Beach WA 908 commences on the northern side of the groyne with good access via the car park, as well as 4 WD access onto the beach. It trends to the north for 700 m to a slight inflection at a patch of intertidal calcarenite with calcarenite also outcropping along the beach. Waves average about 1 m and can form rips against the groyne and amongst the rocks, particularity during higher wave conditions. At other times large seagrass berms can accumulate either side of the groyne. Vegetated dunes rising steeply to 20 m back the beach
