Cliff Head beach (WA 1057) is located in a small indentation in the bluffline, with the beach prograding about 100 m seaward in the centre. Ten metre high calcarenite bluffs border the 1.3 km long low energy beach. About 20 fishing shacks have been built on the slopes of the bluff overlooking the beach. Seagrass debris is often piled up on the beach with the meadows and shallow reefs extending a few kilometres seaward. The northern Cliff Head settlement is located 1 km to the north along the northern end of the bluffline and along beach (WA 1058).
