Beach WA 1051 commences on the northern side of a 20 m high section of calcarenite bluffs that forms a more substantial indentation in the otherwise relatively straight shoreline. The 1.2 km long beach continues north along the base of 10-20 m high dune-covered bluffs, to a 200 m long cliffed section. Vegetated parabolic dunes extend east to the Indian Ocean Drive, which lies 200 m east of the northern bluffs
