Nine Mile Beach (WA 1071) marks a more northerly shift in the orientation of the shore and the northern end of the reef-dominated beaches. The beach is 1.4 km long and has several extensive calcarenite outcrops along the shore, as well as scattered reefs extending 200-300 offshore. Wave height increases along the beach, with a low tide terrace in amongst the northern attached reefs. A 4 WD track runs through the vegetated dunes the length of the beach.
Beach Length: 1.4km
