Beach WA 1065 curves on the northern side for another 300 m to a sandy foreland formed in lee of a small reef. Both beaches usually receive wave averaging less than 1 m, which surge up steep coarse reflective beach. They are backed by an unstable backbeach consisting of washover deposits and small sand dunes, then the estuary.
