Beach WA 1102 commences at the slight northern foreland and trends relatively straight to the north-northwest for 3.5 km to the southern side of Woolawar Gully creek mouth. The entire beach is paralleled by calcarenite reefs. They are attached at either end forming a 50 m wide intertidal platform and lie 100 m offshore along the centre forming a calmer ‘lagoon’ in their lee. The beach is backed by a low foredune and 200 m wide vegetated sandy plain abutting vegetated Pleistocene calcarenite that rises to 80 m. A solitary shack is located behind the centre of the beach with 4 WD tracks running the length of the beach.
