Woolawar Gully is a deeply incised stream that cuts a 100 m deep gully though the Pleistocene calcarenite to reach the shore 5 km north of Oakabella Creek. Farmland extends down the sides of small usually dry creek, which enters the sea in the centre of beach WA 1103. This is a curving 1.2 km long beach bordered by shore-attached and offshore reefs to either side. A moderately open gap between the reefs permit waves averaging 1-1.5 km to reach the shore. The waves maintain a 50 m wide bar usually cut by three beach rips, with permanent rips against the boundary reefs. There is a fishing shack behind the southern side of the creek mouth and 4 WD access to the beach.
Beach Length: 1.2km
