Beach WA 1119 is located to the lee of the southern tip of the shore parallel calcarenite reef that extends 5 km to the northwest to enclose Port Gregory lagoon. The 200 m long beach is located to the lee of a small gap in the reef. It has prominent boundary sandy foreland and a curving centre. Wave break over the reef with a permanent rip returning the water out though the gap. A 4 WD track winds through the backing vegetated dunes to the beach and then runs along beach WA 1118.
