Beach WA 1106 commences on the northern side of the river mouth and trends to the northwest for 3.3 km to the beginning of Horrocks Lagoon. The beach is fronted by a continuous 50 m wide intertidal platform with waves breaking heavily on the outer edge of the platform to reach the sandy high tide beach. Conditions are hazardous the length of the beach. An unstable foredune and active dunes back the beach, with a series of parabolics expanding northward along the rear of the beach and extending up to 1 km inland. The beach is accessible by 4 WD tracks from the river mouth and through the dunes from Horrocks.
