The main Jakes beach (WA 1131) extends for 1 km to the north and is a continuous slightly crenulate high tide platform beach, fronted by a continuous, though irregular intertidal sandstone platform, and backed by low dune-draped bluffs, with the road 100 m inland. Car parks are located at either end of the beach, with numerous assess tracks from the main road.
