Beach WA 1134 is located directly opposite the main beach on the northern side of the tidal channel in lee of the northern beachrock reef. This beach is even more sheltered than the main beach with low waves only reaching the beach at high tide. The reef and beach link at the northern end to form a shallow, narrowing ‘lagoon’, while the southern end borders the deep tidal channel with its strong currents. It is backed by a low unstable dune-covered section of the tidal delta, with no direct access from Kalbarri, other than by boat.
Beach Length: 0.3km
